Terms of use
Scope
These terms govern the use of the GiulIA Shopify app (“the app”) published by My Little Coupon SASU (“we”). By installing the app, the merchant (“you”) accepts them. They complement Shopify’s terms, which also apply.
Service
The app adds a chat sales advisor to your online store. It answers visitors from your catalog, your policies and the instructions you give it, suggests products and can add them to the cart. Available features depend on the chosen plan and are described on getgiulia.com.
Artificial intelligence
Answers are produced by an artificial-intelligence model. We restrict the advisor to your catalog, remove amounts it did not read from Shopify and apply your instructions, but an answer may still be inaccurate or clumsy. You remain responsible for the information you provide, for your commercial policies and for commitments made to your customers. We recommend reviewing conversations regularly in your back office.
Plans, trial and billing
Plans are billed by Shopify, in US dollars, with your Shopify subscription, at the prices shown in the app when you subscribe. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. A conversation is a visit that asks the advisor at least one question, however many messages follow; quotas renew every month. Beyond the quota, the advisor pauses, unless you enable overage in your settings: extra conversations are then billed $0.35 each, up to the monthly cap you set. The Free, Starter, Essential and Pro plans display a “Powered by GiulIA” mention in the chat; Business and Premium do not.
Plan changes and termination
You may change plans at any time from the app; Shopify prorates the charge. You terminate by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin, without notice; amounts already billed for the current period remain due. We may suspend or terminate the service in case of abusive or fraudulent use, breach of Shopify’s terms, or non-payment.
Your obligations
- Give the advisor accurate and lawful instructions, and do not make it say misleading, discriminatory or illegal things.
- Inform your customers, in your privacy policy, that an automated assistant provided by a processor is used.
- Do not attempt to circumvent the app’s quotas, rate limits or security measures.
Data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. You remain the controller of your customers’ data; we act as a processor.
Availability and changes
We use our best efforts to keep the service available at all times, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. If the AI credit runs out or a provider has an incident, the advisor pauses and resumes automatically. We may change the app; a change that would substantially reduce a paid feature would be announced before taking effect.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability under the service is limited, for all causes combined, to the amounts you paid us during the last twelve months. We are not liable for loss of revenue, data or reputation related to an answer from the advisor, an outage or a third party’s act.
Intellectual property
The app, its code, its brand and its content remain our property. You keep all rights to your catalog, texts and instructions; you grant us the right to process them to provide the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts are those of the publisher’s registered office, subject to mandatory rules applicable to businesses established outside France.
